Is there an age requirement? 

Yes.  We require renters to be 25 or older, no exceptions.  We do not rent to vacationing students due to major issues in the past.  All guests are required to check-in in person with the management company where age will be confirmed.

How do I make a reservation? 

Blue Sun has an online reservation system.  If you don't have any questions you can reserve your dates right now
Simply select your dates and follow the instructions to complete your reservation.  

 

What is the total cost including fees and taxes?

Select your dates to get an instant detailed quote by selecting th button below or from the rates/reservation page.  The combined Florida state and county tax rate is currently 11.5%.  There is a cleaning fee of $150
and a pet fee of $150.  There is damage insurance of $69 required, optional travel insurance is available (7% of total cost) if desired. 

 

When do I need to make payments?

50% of the total fees are due to confirm your reservation plus any insurance fees. You can reserve your dates online an make payment by visa, mastercard, american express and discover through our  online reservation system 

 

All fees are due 14 days prior to check in unless reservation is made inside of 14 days.  If that is the case all fees are due to reserve dates.

 

How do we make payment?

The Blue Sun online reservation system accepts most credit cards and debit cards through a secure site.  If you are not comfortable entering your credit card information online, you can call to make your reservation over the phone.

 

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am.  On occassion we don't have guests checking out the day you are checking in so we will let you know if you can check in early!

 

How far is it to the beach?

It is a 90 second walk to the beach!  You can see the water from the house.

 

How many does your house sleep?

6 people.  There are 2 bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and private bathrooms as well as a queen sleeper sofa (with memory foam mattress topper and pillow top mattress pad for your comfort) with a full bath on
the main floor.

 

Does it really have 3 full bathrooms?

It sure does!  It is great for everyone trying to get ready at the same time.

 

Is the pool shared?

Yes, but there are only 8 homes in the community and we rarely ever run into other people at the pool.  It's like having your own private pool.

 

Is there a fenced yard for our pets?

Yes, there is a small fenced back yard that is shaded.  The balcony can get very hot so we put our dogs in the back to lounge outside when the sun is on the balcony.  There is not a door from the house into the back yard.

 

What is the best way to contact you for a quick response?

We have hired a management company, Blue Sun Properties to improve resonse times.  You can call or email them during business hours.   But if you are just looking for a quote or availability...no need to wait!  Just select the reserve online button anywhere on our site to check availability for your dates, get an instant detailed quote and make a reservation.

 

What is your Cancellation Policy?

We do not offer refunds for cancellations.  We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance.  It rarely happens and then it has happened 3 times in 3 months where something has happened to other guests requiring them to cancel at the last minute due to illness or deaths in the family.  We cannot find new guests to replace this income with little notice.  It happens all the time and everyone feels like their circumstances are different or more severe. It is heart breaking to hear the stories and we simply don't want you or us to be put in this position, so PLEASE don't take a chance on losing your valuable vacation budget!  Buy the insurance!  You'll get a full refund and we  won't be out of pocket.  It's a win win for everyone. You just never know.

From the time you pull in to park in the separated spaces (2) for your beach house to the time you settle in to a very comfortable pillow top bed for a very secure nights rest, luxury and comfort.  Families should quit the Inns, hotels and Motels and go for the best family experience"
