Sonic Drive In - great fast breakfast!  2.9 miles, 5 minutes, 11200 Hutchison Blvd

Schooner's is a really fun place right on the water.  Its a couple miles east on Thomas Drive. There is a sign on Thomas Drive telling you when to turn.  It's a little pricy for the type of food it is but the portions are big and they have live entertainment.  Early evening you'll see families there.  They shoot a canon at sunset each evening.  It becomes more adult the later it gets and may have a cover charge depending on the night and what they have going on. 

Firefly This is one of the nicest places we have found in Panama City Beach and the food is definitely the best.  Cuisines: American, Seafood, Steakhouse 535 R. Jackson Blvd., Panama City Beach, FL 32407 850-249-3359










Captain Anderson's is a favorite of some friends of ours who live nearby.  It's at the marina and also has a seafood market.

The BoatYard is right at the marina by Captain Anderson’s but is more casual.  

Pineapple Willies is across from Walmart right on the water.  It has a short pier going out onto the beach where they serve food and drinks.  Next door is Fat Tuesday and Pineapple Willies serves Fat Tuesday drinks.

Bonefish Grill is a chain, but food is always good.

Captain Jack's is an all you can eat seafood buffet.  Some people don't like buffets so if that's you, scratch this off your list.  If you like them the food is pretty good (all you can eat crab legs).  This is within walking distance, only a couple of blocks. 

Uncle Earnie's is across the bridge in Panama City at the St. Andrews marina

Another Broken Egg Café is my favorite breakfast place.  It is a few miles west on middle beach road (Hutchison) and is only open for breakfast and lunch (until 2pm) 

Mikato Japanese Seafood Steakhouse & Lounge is another place we often frequent because we love Hibachi.  They cook in front of you which is also lots of fun for the kids.  Last time we were there they had cut back on the proportions though, but not the price.  7724 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach - (850) 235-1338

Barefoot Beach Club is located on the beach so it has great ambiance.  At beach level there is a playground for the kids but the plastic slides are too hot when the sun is beating down on them.  15405 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 850-249-2031
